"Outta sight music blared continuously" from a small apartment on 1st Ave. in Tucson as a young couple got married in the style of the 60s on May 3, 1968. Yes, it's been 50 years. Photos by Bruce Hopkins / Tucson Citizen.

First Avenue crowded with well-wishers, many of whom were barefoot and with some of the men shirtless. Beer flowed in paper cups both during and after the service.
