2016 All Souls Procession

With the official start of the fall season just three days away, it's not too soon to start thinking of all the perks that come with a change in season.

For this particular season, one of the perks seems to be a plethora of festivals to celebrate Halloween, Oktoberfest and all other things autumn-related.

With so many festivals taking place across Arizona over the next several weeks, Only in Your State has curated a list to help guide readers to the 11 best.

It shouldn't come as a huge surprise that Tucson's All Souls Procession earns a much-deserved spot on the list. Scheduled for November 5, the annual procession "celebrates life, mourns the death of loved ones, and brings the community together for a two-mile procession through downtown," according to Only in Your State.

A short drive from Tucson, Willcox's Fall Pumpkin Celebration at Apple Annie's Orchard also makes the list. Running from September 23 through October 29, the festival features pick-your-own-pumpkins and other fall veggies, a corn maze and freshly-made pumpkin treats.

Not to be left out, Tombstone's Helldorado Days also makes the list. The weekend-long festival running from October 20 through 22 showcases the legendary town "with reenactments, an 1880s fashion show, a carnival, and plenty of other fun activities," Only in Your State says.

There are eight other festivals across the state, so check out the full list here and get some inspiration for a weekend road trip.
