South Tucson police said a man armed with a gun robbed a McDonald's on Friday night.
The robber walked up to drive-through window of the McDonald's, at 1901 S. Sixth Ave., and pointed a black handgun at the worker inside. The employee gave the robber all of the cash out of the cash drawer and the robber ran toward the back of the property into a residential neighborhood, according to the South Tucson Police Department
About $1,400 in cash was taken, according to a news release from South Tucson Police.
The robber was wearing a black ski mask, dark military style pants and long-sleeved shirt. He was described as being about 5-feet, 9 inches tall with a medium build.
