Pima County Sheriff's deputies are investigating an armed robbery during which a suspicious package was left behind by the suspect.

Deputies responded to the BBVA Compass Bank located at 7645 North La Cholla Boulevard for reports of an armed robbery, said sheriff's department spokesman, Deputy Cody Gress.

The suspect is in custody, however a suspicious package involved in the incident has led deputies to evacuate the bank as well as Buy Buy Baby, which is located inside the mall, Gress said.
