After a rainy Sunday at lower elevations and snowfall on Mount Lemmon, Tucsonans can expect drier conditions this week.

There will be clearer skies for at least the next several days, with no more rain in the forecast through Christmas.

Cooler temperatures remain in place, with much colder nights expected later this week. A widespread hard freeze is possible for the Tucson metro area Friday or Saturday morning.

Six inches of snow fell on Ski Valley atop Mount Lemmon between 2 a.m. Sunday and 9 a.m. Monday, according to the National Weather Service. Areas of Summerhaven saw as much as 5.4 inches of snow.
