Erin Eman

A woman accused of causing six hit-and-run crashes Thursday is now facing multiple felonies, according to police.

Erin Eman, 32, was booked into the Pima County jail in connection with charges of aggravated DUI, aggravate assault, aggravated assault with dangerous intent and felony criminal damage, said Sgt. Pete Dugan, a Tucson Police Department spokesman.

Shortly before 3 p.m., officers with the Tucson Police Department responded to a crash in the area of South Pantano and East Stella Road for reports of a crash with serious injuries, Dugan said.

Officers arrived at the scene to find one vehicle in the middle of the intersection after it struck a car making a left turn. The driver of the vehicle making the turn was taken to the hospital with serious and possible life-threatening injuries.

Eman, who was driving the second, car displayed signs and symptoms of impairment, causing police to conduct a DUI investigation.

Shortly after police arrived at the scene, they learned that Eman was possibly involved in multiple hit-and-run crashes that took place across Tucson Thursday, Dugan said.
