Tuesday, Aug. 29, is primary election day in Tucson Wards 3, 5 and 6. The election is being conducted through a mail-in ballot and there are just two contested races to be decided.
If you missed Wednesday’s deadline to mail back your ballot in time for it to be counted, you have to drop off your ballot at one of four locations Tuesday. The sites will be open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.
You can drop off your ballots at:
- Tucson City Clerk Elections Center, 800 E. 12th St.
- Liggins Recreation Center, 2160 N. Sixth Ave.
- Randolph Park administration building, 900 S. Randolph Way.
- El Pueblo Senior Center, 101 W. Irvington Road.

Ward 6 Green Party

Candidates in uncontested primaries advance to the November general election, which becomes a citywide vote.
