Anti-ICE demonstrations break out in Tucson after killing in Minnesota

Hundreds turn out for at least two demonstrations in Tucson, including some 300 along Congress Street near Granada Avenue, Saturday, Jan. 24, 2026, to protest federal agents fatally shooting a man in Minnesota. Across Tucson, others protesting the Minnesota shooting gathered at Freedom Park, 5000 E. 29th St., and more than a hundred marched from there to the U.S. Border Patrol station entrance at Swan and Golf Links roads.
