President Donald Trump threatened to cut Elon Musk's government contracts Thursday as their fractured alliance rapidly escalated into a public feud.
Last Friday, Trump heaped praise on Musk as he prepared to leave his unorthodox White House job. Less than a week later, their potent political alliance met a dramatic end.
Potential fallout could include a roadblock to Tesla's plans for self-driving cars and SpaceX flying fewer missions for NASA.
