US Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene, citing her refusal to be a “battered wife,” announced Friday that she is resigning from the House of Representatives following a dramatic fallout with President Donald Trump. The move marks a surprising reversal for the Georgia Republican, who was once one of Trump’s closest allies and a vocal supporter of his “America First” agenda, but whose relationship with the former president deteriorated in recent months amid disputes over the release of government files related to Jeffrey Epstein and other issues. Gabrielle Nadler and Alexandra Quarini report.
