Six people were killed and 13 wounded in a mass shooting at the Safeway at Ina and Oracle roads north of Tucson on Jan. 8, 2011. Rep. Gabrielle Giffords was severely wounded in the shooting. The suspect, Jared Loughner, was convicted and is in federal prison.
