Thank you for your article regarding the stance of the Tucson Police Department regarding immigration issues. It is reassuring that the friends and workers I know will not be targeted for their immigration status. Thanks for reassuring all of us that the focus of the TPD is to protect and serve and that no one regardless of immigration status will be afraid to contact law enforcement to report any suspicious activity, a crime or for assistance. Your sensitivity to this issue is much appreciated.
