What a delight to read about the high school curriculum based on Pope Francis’ encyclical “Laudato Si." Kevin Russell and the other Salpointe teachers are to be commended for their efforts to bring the essence of the Popes’ message of respect for the earth and for all peoples of the earth into the studies of multiple departments. The hope of applying “Laudato Si” into school settings here and abroad would seem to have far reaching effects.
