Letter: Flowers and Bullets collective does community proud

Re: the Aug. 1 article "Proposals for closed school include truck parking, farm."

My husband I have met and planned a neighborhood event with members of the Flowers and Bullets collective. They are a fine group of young people who are identifying and pooling skills and interests they have to vision: a community commercial kitchen, artist studio space, self-storage units, gardens and neighborhood farmer's market. Wow! Could happen.

We purchased a beautiful high-quality tee shirt and a jar of homemade prickly pear jelly form Flowers and Bullets and urge others to do the same. Blessings on this visionary “bootstrap” cooperative enterprise. Thanks for your article.
