According to the Prop 101 website, the 1/2 cent sales tax increase would cost each household member "approximately $3 per month." As the wife of a firefighter, I am appalled that David Eppihimer argues that the tax will "hurt people." Aging fleets, outdated facilities, and lack of equipment will "hurt people" David. When our police force and firefighter crews have equipment and facilities that are broken and in need of serious upgrades, we should be ashamed. We ask them for so much as a community and I believe that people will be honored to help contribute in this small way.
