Our elected officials have now become the moral voice for the public. Their views, and only their views, are now acceptable. They will choose who, and what policies privately owned companies are allowed to support. If you differ from them, you're on the outside looking in.

What if Glock wanted to build a manufacturing plant in Tucson, employing thousands of local people. Would the mayor and council vote NO, due to their gun control ideals? Would they prevent private businesses and citizens the right to practice commerce just because of their prejudices? Think like we do, or your are not welcome in our county or city. Is this now the new mantra of a free society?

We all have our personal issues, causes and prejudices. It's normal to disagree with others and take opposing sides. Forcing people to take your side, isn't. That's totalitarianism, and it never succeeds in a free society. Our elected officials would be well advised to remember, they are merely temporary tenants in public buildings.
