For the fourth year, St James United Methodist Church in Tucson is offering "Ash Wednesday To Go" until 4pm.

Alejandro Heredia receives ashes from Pastor Bob Holliday with St James United Methodist Church, at 3255 N Campbell Ave., on Ash Wednesday. People either walked up or sat inside their vehicles to receive their ashes throughout the morning. This is the fourth year Pastor Holliday has given out ashes on the side of the road. By 11am he and his volunteers had estimated to have given ashes to more than 200 people and expected to give out more than 450 by the end of the day. During Lent, Holiiday also plans to have "Prayers To Go" every Wednesday.
