Battle of Bakhmut: Ukrainian officials say defenders still fighting, last civilians fleeing

Ukraine has both mocked and rejected Russian claims to have captured the administrative center of Bakhmut. This following Russian claims that its forces had raised a Russian flag over a single official building, adding that the city has been taken from a legal point of view. The head of Ukraine's eastern military command insisting Bakhmut remains Ukrainian. In the meantime, civilians are being evacuated over fears of more heavy fighting.
