In his senior year at Canyon del Oro, Meyers won the state golf championship a month after winning the amateur portion of the Champion Tourβs Nature Valley First Tee Open at Pebble Beach, making a double-eagle two at the 18th hole to win the team title with ex-U.S. Open champ Lee Jansen.Β
