The Innovation Academy opens in Oro Vallery

The opening of Amphitheater Schools Innovation Academy, 825 W. Desert Fairways Dr., Oro Valley on June 2, 2017. The open-enrollment STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) school for K-5 students also features a preschool. The building was designed in concert with STEM teaching methods. Even the building engineering itself is part of the curriculum. The school opens to students in August. Video by Rick Wiley / Arizona Daily Star
