Cienega High teacher awarded $25K in surprise assembly

Cienega High School teacher Brittany Matsushino was awarded the 2015 Milken Educator Award during a surprise assembly that came with a check for $25,000.

Brittany Matsushino teaches sophomore English and serves as the Student Council advisor.
The volunteer members both have spouses employed by the district.
