Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth recently said that Ukraine will never be a member of NATO. The US is only one of the 32 nations making up the membership and can hardly speak for the whole organization. He was speaking before any formal negotiations to end the Ukraine/Russia war began, but putting a cold blanket on them. Trump has had several phone calls with Vladimir Putin and who knows what was discussed. Secretary of State Marco Rubio and two others recently met in Moscow, presumably initiating talks about ending the war. Hmm, Ukraine was nowhere to be seen. Is this the way to negotiate, leaving the other principal out in the cold? That seems to be Trump's method of negotiation. That is how he negotiated US withdrawal from Afghanistan - negotiated with the Taliban only. So the end of the war will be negotiated without EUA participation and without including Ukraine. Trump recently said that Ukraine actually began the war, which the whole world knows is absolutely not true.
