Remember hiding under desks in case of nuclear attack? Trump is ignorant about nuclear weapons. He considered using nuclear bombs to weaken hurricanes. This is doubly scary due to his affection for Putin and Kim Jong Un with nuclear ambitions.
Remember when we lost friends to polio, the horrible pictures of iron lungs? Trumpโs minion and vaccination skeptic RFK Jr. has recently claimed that Trump promised him โcontrol of the public health agencies.โ This bodes ill.
Remember when the fastest-growing poverty segment was widows and divorcees? For stay-at-home widows their husbandโs pension died with them; and no work history made them ineligible for Social Security. Women discarded by husbands suffered similar fates due to patriarchal divorce laws and no community property rights. Project 2025 would harm women by forcing costly pregnancies and eliminating no-fault divorce.
We canโt go back to a time of nuclear war risk; people dying for lack of vaccines; and women and their children forced into poverty. Vote Democrat.
