Voters complain the country is headed in the wrong direction. Thatโs not Democratsโ fault.
The President cannot enact laws without Congress. Republicans in Congress refuse to pass bills needed for a strong economy and immigration reform.
The House of Representatives, ruled by a chaotic Republican majority, opposes all Democratic bills, simply because they are proposed by Democrats. Republicans even voted against an immigration bill they supported โ just to appease the criminal candidate.
Senate rules require a 60% majority to pass most legislation. Because Senate Republicans refuse to work with Democrats to solve problems, the rule prevents passage of Democratic bills.
Vote for Harris/Walz.
Vote for Democrats for Congress (Gallego, Engel, Grijalva) to achieve goals needed for a better America:
- Right to abortion
- Stop inflation and price gouging
- Help families pay for housing and childcare
- Decrease oil/gas subsidies; promote renewable energy
- Help small businesses
- Immigration reform
