You're backpedaling. Your article wasn't about trying to get someone fired. It was the opinion, something you are full of, that a person in his capacity should not exercise free speech. Not hate speech, not threats, simply one man's opinion that did not meet your own narrative. I was one of those who wrote you, in fact my rebuttal was posted. Go back and read your own article, think about it, stop playing the victim, and move on. The first amendment applies to everyone else as much as it does you. You are not the cities moral compass anymore than any other citizen. You called him out in a public forum, got burned by your readers and received rebuttals (which seems to have hit a nerve), and just can't seem to get over it. It's a tempest in a teapot and you're stirring the tea.
