My hope is that the Board will instruct the university administration(s) to adopt policies, procedures and a protocol

how its employee/coaches should respond to "offers" of compensation from 3d persons who may be

criminals/crooks, organized crime or, as in this case, agents of federal law enforcement. The university should have

pre-arrangements with local law enforcement, i.e., sheriff's dept. and/or local police, i.e., Tucson P.D. how to proceed ahead of time, e.g., by setting up an "escrow" account, and/or a reverse "sting" to protect said employees, since they are nowall targets.

If you haven't experienced it, criminals & organized crime types do in fact have the ability to intimidate

and force bad decisions upon otherwise reputable reasonable people. So, having a protocol in place for employees to

follow may be the best way to protect them, as well as a university's reputation.
