Why is the stadium empty?

Very simple, the rock-concert decibel announcer, TV screens, and most annoying 3rd down noise anywhere in America.

As I told UA two months ago, I am an alumnus and fan. And I will never voluntarily return to that stadium. And if you can't keep hometown fans, you are screwed.

Take an overhead photo of the stadium during any home game. You will see empty pockets, circles of empty seats, surrounding every screen location. Why? Because it is so damn loud, not only can you not hear yourself talk, you cannot hear yourself think. Screens that shamelessly promote commerce, in the middle of a game. One does not go to the stadium to watch TV. Whoever had this bright idea, I hope, is gone.

I begged them, to go back, to dump the din, and return to traditional simplicity. Bring back Roger Sedlmayr, if he's alive. He was fine.
