I live in a canyon on a mountainside. I have these critters, but mine are BLACK, not brown or grey, they do have the red markings so I know that's what they are. Fortunately, I have three busy cats who are keeping them under control. They will be gone soon, hopefully, with the weather warming up. We haven't seen them like this in a few of years as there hasn't been enough rain.
