I read Jim Knupp, a spokesman for the Arizona Registrar of Contractors, comment on licensed contractors. I find it interesting that he seems to throw more shade on the people that hire someone to do the work, than on the jerks that run and don't complete it. Spending more time buying a cell phone... really??

People trust or are supposed to trust a contractor to do the work. They believe that they have recourse if it is not completed as planned. Apparently that is not true and the law needs to be changed along with Knupp's attitude. It is the contractors responsibility to do the work not the person who hired them to run behind them and wonder if the work will get or not.

If they don't, than their license should be revoked and they should be fined. The person that hired them should get their money back from the insurance company that bonded them. They are the victim not the problem.
