Participants gathered in the capital carrying flags and banners during the mobilization, which also commemorated the legacy of former President Hugo Chavez. The march took place amid heightened tensions following recent developments involving the United States, including pressure measures and the seizure of a Venezuelan oil tanker in the Caribbean.
