Glenn Spencer built this wall about five years ago after someone pulled down an American flag off of a pole that Spencer had near his property. Over the years people have sent him small flags to post on his walls that spell out "Secure the Border First" and "America." Friday June 24, 2016

Every Monday for two years, Joe Schifano, 85, has played the piano in the lobby of the Southern Arizona Veterans Affairs Health Care System. The piano helped him cope with the loss of his wife to Alzheimer's and Parkinson's diseases in 2007. He says he likes to play songs from the 1930's to the 60's, but big band music from the 1940's is his favorite. He doesn't accept money, people have brought him fruit, candy and hugs to show their appreciation for the music. Schifano served in the United States army from 1949-1952. Monday August 22, 2016.

Anna Rogovin, 100, holds a photo of herself from the 1940's. She was a chemist during World War II and joined Women Accepted for Volunteer Emergency Service, WAVES. At the age of 91, Rogovin was hit by a tractor-trailer and lost both of her legs. Wednesday October 5, 2016.
