When Derrick Williams broke his right pinkie in 2010-11, he didn’t miss any games and almost made it an art form, with his heavily bandaged right hand famously rising up for a game-saving block against Washington that season.

Things could be trickier for Kadeem Allen. While Williams broke his pinkie, meaning it could just be heavily bandaged to prevent pain, Allen suffered a dislocation that has prevented him from putting any significant pressure on it.

Allen is listed day-to-day, suggesting his presence against Washington on Saturday is questionable.

UA athletic trainer Justin Kokoskie said Allen suffered the injury in practice Tuesday, when his finger caught in Parker Jackson-Cartwright’s jersey.

“The joint popped out and we had to get it reset,” Kokoskie said.
