Preseason All-AmericanΒ 

How much attention is he getting? Even his dad, Philip, had to do a double take as he made his way through a grocery store in Northern California a few weeks ago and saw Wright on a couple of different covers.

All three publications and ESPN have Wright as a preseason All-American and Lindy’s ranked Wright as the No. 1 inside linebacker in the country.

None of that is really a surprise. There’s a clear consensus that Wright is one of the best players in the country.Β
