He did not attend the NFL Combine but impressed scouts with his versatility and intelligence in private workouts. β€œI was surprised I went as high as the fifth round,” he said. Griffith, a tight end, played seven NFL seasons.

Life after football: He is a youth pastor in Colorado.Β
