Accomplishments:Β Waldrop was a consensus first-team All-American in 1992 and a unanimous first-team All-American in 1993. In 1993, he earned the Outland Trophy β€” given to the nation's top interior defensive lineman β€” and was named the Pac-10 Defensive Player of the Year as well. He was inducted into the National Football Foundation College Football Hall of Fame in 2011 and the Arizona Sports Hall of Fame in 1998.Β 

Waldrop was named the MVP of the 1992 Sun Bowl. He also won the Pac-10 Morris Trophy in 1992 as well. He was a two-time first-team All-Pac-10 selection (1992, 1993).Β 

Waldrop also ranks 5th in UA history with 23.5 career sacks.Β
