Because of the Pac-12’s unbalanced schedule, the Wildcats won’t have to make the trek to Colorado and Utah, which is the conference’s second-worst trip for travel logistics behind only Washington and Washington State.
The Utah-Colorado road swing also dealt the Wildcats two losses last season. Still, UA coach Sean Miller said the scheduling didn’t matter to him.
“It is what it is,” he said. “You can look it a million ways. We’re all gonna play 18 games. There’s two teams that we don’t play in McKale (Oregon and OSU) and two teams we don’t travel to. I don’t really worry about it as much.”
