Arizona volleyball's NCAA Tournament run came to an end Saturday when the Wildcats fell to No. 2 seed Stanford 3-1. 

In the second-round match, held at Maples Pavilion in Stanford, Calif., UA held the Cardinal under a .300 hitting percentage and compiled 10 blocks, but Stanford served eight aces to come out on top.

Arizona volleyball fell to No. 2 seed Stanford in the second round of the NCAA Tournament Saturday, Dec. 6, 2025. 

Stanford won the first set 25-16 before UA came back with a 27-25 victory. The Cardinal would take the next two sets, 25-17 and 25-20. 

Unseeded Arizona faced Stanford after defeating No. 7 seed South Dakota State in the first round Friday 3-1. 

Senior Jordan Wilson closed her college volleyball career leading the Wildcats for the second night in a row, tallying 17 kills, seven digs and three blocks. 

Late last month, Wilson was selected to Major League Volleyball's Grand Rapids Rise in the third round as the 18th overall pick.

Sophomore Carlie Cisneros added 12 kills for the offense Saturday, and junior Journey Tucker led the defense with five blocks, according to a news release.

UA ends the season 17-13 (10-8 Big 12).
