After earning an automatic bid as the Big 12 champions to the NCAA Regionals, Arizona women's golf received a No. 3 seed at the Lubbock Regional.

Joining the Cats in Texas β€” one of six regional sitesΒ β€” May 5-7 will be No. 1 Texas, No. 2 Wake Forest, No. 4 Texas A&M, No. 5 Iowa State, No. 6 Tennessee, No. 7 Purdue, No. 8 Campbell, No. 9 UC Davis, No. 10 Florida Gulf Coast, No. 11 Tarleton State and 12th-seeded Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, along with six individual competitors.Β 

The NCAA regionals will feature 396 participants in all. The top five teams and the low individual not on an advancing team from each regional site will advance to the national championships May 16-21 in Carlsbad, California.

Arizona secured the Big 12 title in its first year in the conference, edging Arizona State and Oklahoma State last week at Houston Oaks Country Club in Hockley, Texas.

ASU will tee off in the Gold Canyon Regional in Arizona as the No. 2 seed and a host institution.Β
