Arizona women's golf lands No. 3 seed in NCAA regionals

After earning an automatic bid as the Big 12 champions to the NCAA Regionals, Arizona women's golf received a No. 3 seed at the Lubbock Regional.

Joining the Cats in Texas — one of six regional sites — May 5-7 will be No. 1 Texas, No. 2 Wake Forest, No. 4 Texas A&M, No. 5 Iowa State, No. 6 Tennessee, No. 7 Purdue, No. 8 Campbell, No. 9 UC Davis, No. 10 Florida Gulf Coast, No. 11 Tarleton State and 12th-seeded Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, along with six individual competitors. 

The NCAA regionals will feature 396 participants in all. The top five teams and the low individual not on an advancing team from each regional site will advance to the national championships May 16-21 in Carlsbad, California.
