Brooke Nuneviller had 28 kills as Oregon’s women’s volleyball team swept the Arizona Wildcats 25-19, 25-17, 25-15 on Friday, snapping the UA’s two-match winning streak.
Senior and Oregon native Paige Whipple led the UA with eight kills, and freshman Sofia Maldonado-Diaz added seven. Emery Herman had 27 assists. The Wildcats (2-5) and Ducks (5-2) will play again Sunday at noon.
