The UA club hockey team will open the ACHA National Tournament on Thursday night with a game against Missouri State in Columbus, Ohio. The winner of the game between the 16th-ranked Wildcats and 17th-ranked Bears will take on top-seeded Minot State on Saturday.
The single-elimination tournament runs through Tuesday.
Arizona earned the invitation to the national tournament after posting a 23-12-2 regular season record. The Wildcats finished third in the Western Collegiate Hockey League. The UA is led by freshman Anthony Cusanelli, who finished first on the team in goals and points and earned five regular-season awards from the WCHL.
