Arizona confirmed late Wednesday afternoon that starting wing Rawle Alkins will be out an estimated 8-12 weeks after breaking his foot during "voluntary activities" with teammates on Tuesday.
The timing suggests Alkins could be healthy enough to return in December or at the latest before Pac-12 play begins.

Alkins was Arizona's third-leading scorer (10.9) and third-leading rebounder (4.9) last season. He entered the NBA Draft pool and participated in the NBA's predraft combine but opted to return for his sophomore season.
