The previously contracted Arizona-UCLA game to open next season has been formally wrapped into a four-game season-opening event that will also feature the UA women's basketball team on Nov. 2 at Las Vegas' T-Mobile Arena.

Times have not been set, but the UA women's team is scheduled to face Stanford that day, while the UA men will play UCLA in what is the final game of the teams' three-year, neutral-site series.

The quadrupleheader will also feature a men's game between Purdue and Gonzaga, and a women's game between USC and UNLV.

It will be the UA men's basketball team's second straight season-opener in Las Vegas. On Nov. 3, the Wildcats beat then-No. 3 Florida at T-Mobile to start this season in a doubleheader that also featured BYU against Villanova.

Arizona forward Koa Peat (10) and guard Bryce James (6) celebrate after their team's win against Florida during a game Nov. 3, 2025, in Las Vegas.

Arizona, which faced UCLA in Phoenix during the 2024-25 season and in Los Angeles earlier this season, was contracted to receive a guaranteed $200,000 each for the Florida and UCLA games, according to contracts obtained by the Star via a public-records request.

The promoter of those games, Position Sports, also agreed to pay UA 10% of net ticket sales revenue between $800,000 and $1.2 million for the Florida game, plus 33.3% of ticket revenue between $1 million and $1.3 million for UCLA.

Position Sports is also promoting the Nov. 2 event in conjunction with the Basketball Hall of Fame, branding the event as "Hall of Fame Las Vegas."

"We are thrilled to be opening our season as part of the Hall of Fame Women's Showcase," said UA women's head coach Becky Burke. "The opportunity to challenge ourselves right out of the gate against a quality opponent is something we're really excited about. It's also an incredible opportunity for our fan base to travel and support U of A Basketball, having both Arizona men's and women's programs competing in the same tournament."

In Burke's first season at the helm, her squad's entire nonconference slate was played at home at McKale Center.

All four games will be nationally televised across TNT Sports' networks and platforms.
