Adia Barnes has an improved roster this season in the fiercely competitive Pac-12.

SAN FRANCISCO — Despite having a roster improved with highly regarded freshmen and transfers, the Arizona women's basketball team was picked to finish 10th in the Pac-12 in the conference's official poll.

In voting by the league's 12 coaches, Oregon was picked to win the league, followed by Stanford, Oregon State and California. The Wildcats were picked to finish ahead of only Washington State and Washington.

Last season, Arizona was picked to finish 11th and did exactly that, with a 2-16 record.

However, the Pac-12 is loaded with potential top-25 teams and an expected national championship contender in Oregon. The Ducks, who return four starters including all-American Sabrina Ionescu, were picked to win the Pac-12 for the first time ever.

Full results of the poll, with total points and first-place votes in parentheses:

1. Oregon 121 (11)

2. Stanford 107 (1)

3. Oregon State 104

4. California 82
