Arizona guard Jaden Bradley testified at an Alabama murder trial Wednesday, reportedly telling a jury that he and former teammate Darius Miles tried to pull away Michael Davis from a confrontation that led to a deadly shooting in January 2023.

Bradley was not charged in the case, in which Davis is accused of shooting and killing Jamea Harris while she sat in the passenger seat of a Jeep. Davis is facing a charge of capital murder, as is Miles for allegedly "aiding and abetting" Davis, according to ESPN.

Bradley testified that Davis had a heated interaction with the Jeep that carried Harris and two others. He said he and Miles tried to pull Davis away, but Davis later walked away, and Bradley said he didn't know where he went.

According to AL.com, Bradley also testified he did not know that Miles allegedly texted then-Alabama basketball player Brandon Miller asking for Miles’ gun after the confrontation at the Jeep. Miller, now playing for the Charlotte Hornets, has also not been charged.

Bradley testified that he heard shots but did not see who shot them, and that he drove off by himself afterward. Bradley testified that he did not call a coach or police, according to AL.com.

ESPN reported that Bradley is one of four former members of the Alabama men's basketball team on the witness list, and the first to testify in the trial, which began Monday. Miller and fellow former Alabama player Nick Pringle, as well as former team manager Cooper Lee, might also be called to take the stand.

Arizona's Jaden Bradley testified in an Alabama murder trial dating back to an incident in January 2023, when he played for the Crimson Tide.
