Arizona Wildcats center Dusan Ristic (14) is defended by Oregon State Beavers forward Drew Eubanks (12) in the first half during a game at Gill Coliseum in Corvallis, Oregon on Feb. 22, 2018.

Despite a day riddled with negative headlines surrounding the Arizona Wildcats, senior center Dusan Ristic took a step closer to history in the UA basketball program.

In Arizona's 78-75 overtime win over the Oregon State Beavers, Ristic tied Matt Mueuhlebach and Kaleb Tarczewski for all-time wins in program history with 110. Ristic finished Thursday night with 14 points on 6 of 12 shooting and fouled out in the overtime period. Ristic has now scored in double figures in 11 straight games dating back to Jan. 11.

If the Wildcats win on Saturday at Oregon, Ristic will have 111 wins under his belt and become the new leader. While Parker Jackson-Cartwright is in the same class as Ristic, he missed 10 games over his four years at the UA while Ristic only missed three. So if Arizona wins out and has a deep run in the Pac-12 and NCAA Tournament, Jackson-Cartwright could become second.

Arizona plays Oregon Saturday in Eugene at 8:15 p.m., which will be televised on ESPN.
