UA commit Shareef O'Neal ended his travel-ball career in style Sunday, with his Cal Supreme team winning the Bigfoot Las Vegas Classic 17U platinum elite title with an overtime win over the Las Vegas Prospects.

Going 5-0 to win the tournament was a comeback of sorts after Cal Supreme went 1-2 in the even-more-elite "The 8" event earlier in the week while working in basically a new roster (and new celebrity coaches).

After Sunday's game, Reef also expressed confidence about his college team, which he'll join in 2018-19 after a final season at Crossroads School in Santa Monica.

Also Sunday, the Powerhouse U16 team that is full of top Tucson players, including UA target Majok Deng of Salpointe, made it all the way to the championship game of the Las Vegas Classic Platinum Elite 16U tournamentΒ before losing to Team CP3.

Sporting News' Mike DeCourcy looked at some of the questions surrounding Marvin Bagley's possible reclassification to 2017.
