Akinjo's choice became clear when he canceled planned visits to Tennessee and Arizona this week. Akinjo was a commit to UConn who decommitted after coach Kevin Ollie was fired.
While Akinjo didn't visit Arizona last weekend, Belgian forward Omar Thielemans and Pitt grad transfer Ryan Luther did, and Thielemans committed to the Wildcats. (Luther has been quiet about his recruitment).
Thielemans joined Southern California guard Devonaire Doutrive in the class of 2018, and Arizona can add another five players for next season.
After visiting Oregon last weekend, former UA commit Brandon Williams is having some fun with his re-opened recruitment.

Another former UA target, Bol Bol, says he wants Williams to join him in Eugene.
