'It's an honor of a lifetime': Al Fleming, Ernie McCray are the latest Wildcats inducted into Arizona's Ring of Honor
Former Arizona Wildcats basketball stars Ernie McCray and Al Fleming will be inducted into the UA Ring of Honor this week. McCray still holds Arizona's single-game scoring record, when he dropped 46 points against Cal State-L.A. in 1960. Between 1972-76, Fleming recorded the most double-doubles (53) in school history, which wasn't a statistic at the time. McCray and Fleming's family discussed on Tuesday what being inducted into the UA Ring of Honor means to them.
