Observations from warmups before the Arizona Wildcats’ game against UCLA tonight at Arizona Stadium:
* Quarterback Khalil Tate took the majority of the first-team snaps from Nathan Eldridge. That means Tate will start, as expected. He was listed as a co-starter on the official UA depth chart.
* Defensive tackle Luca Bruno, listed as questionable because of concussion, is not suited up. With Bruno out, it appears that Dereck Boles and Parker Zellers will be the starters inside, rotating with Finton Connolly and Kurtis Brown.
* Receiver Donovan Moore, who was in a bad car accident a few weeks ago, was on the field during warmups. He’s not in uniform, but he was hanging out with his fellow Wildcats.
* UCLA freshman defensive end Jaelan Phillips (ankle) will miss his third straight game, a big loss for the Bruins.
* Arizona freshman kicker Lucas Havrisik made a 55-yard field goal during the early portion warmups.
* Some number changes for the Wildcats: QB Donavan Tate is now wearing No. 3; CB Antonio Parks has switched from 8 to 4, for at least tonight; and receiver Donovan Walker is now wearing No. 12. The offensive player who had that number, freshman tight end Bryce Gilbert, is out for the season because of injury.
