QUOTES
Ellison on the mood in the locker room: βUpset. It sucks losing no matter what, and as a competitor it really hurts. But just let it hurt for 24 hours, like coach says, then we get back to ASU tomorrow.β
Tate on the importance of the upcoming Territorial Cup: βItβs the last game of the regular season. Itβs a good chance to get us in a better bowl. We just have to come back and fix the mistakes that we (made) and come out on top.β
LB Tony Fields II on the lessons he took from the loss: βJust play our game. Donβt let any other team take you out of it. Play Arizona football.β
UA coach Rich Rodriguez on the return of Oregon QB Justin Herbert: βHe played great. I knew he was going to throw the ball downfield. Heβs a big, strong guy. We did not play the ball well at all. We have not played the ball well for a few weeks. He throws the ball up there, and weβre spinning in circles, letting them catch it. Or weβre getting run by. He did a nice job.β
Schooler on playing against older brother Brenden: βI think there was a play or two when he tried to block me. I think he tried to crack me one time. I saw it coming. We just kind of collided. But nothing special.β
